Licensing

The HHS license is valid for 1 year and permits you to use the project lessons non-commercially at a different venue besides a private home or high school classroom. The license also provides access to the Hacker Highschool cloud-based lab network for performing lesson exercises and additional content to aid in learning.

What is a license?

A license is valid for 1 year, permits you to use the lessons non-commercially outside of high schools and private home-users or home-schooling. It also provides access to additional content such as stories and presentations as well as access to the Hacker Highschool cloud-based lab network for performing lesson exercises.


Do I need a license?

If you want to provide the lessons in a college, university, trade school, boot camp, summer camp, office, or similar then you will need to a license. 

If you are using the Hacker Highschool lessons at a high school, at home for private use, or private home-schooling then you do NOT need a license. However if you want to use the Hacker Highschool cloud-based test network then you will still need to pay for a license to get access.

If you want to use the text from the lessons for your commercial books, slides, and workbooks then you need to contact us for permission. For non-commercial use clear attribution is still required.


Commercial Users

If you want to teach the Hacker Highschool lessons commercially at a business or for profit then you need to contact us for terms or become an ISECOM Training Partner. A license does not cover commercial or for-profit use.

A license is valid for 1 year and costs 199EUR.
